This Feels Right

I’ve seen beautiful sunsets, on the golden horizon, with patches of pink and blue

I’ve seen the gorgeous sky, lit by the moon it it’s full glory, sprinkled with a million shimmering stars

I’ve seen the splendor of the waterfalls, flowing, falling with might making rainbows

I’ve seen majestic mountains ruling the land,needing no announcement of their existence

Life is beautiful, just as God made it,and I’ve seen and experienced it all.

I’ve been loved by kings and paupers alike

I’ve lived like royalty

I’ve felt the piercing pain,the stab of a heartbreak

Maybe more than I should have

I’ve lived and died, I’ve risen from the ashes like the Phoenix

But life is still beautiful,like God wants me to experience it

So don’t tell me that when you say you need me, or long for me,its a bluff

Or that when in the still morning moments when your heart reaches for me, it’s a mirage

Because I’ve lived long enough, I’ve tasted life,the bitter and sweet

I know what’s real,what’s not,I heard your heart call

And when I answered,I knew it was right

Because it felt so beautiful, so pure, so right,just as God intended it to be

So instead of banishing me into the oblivion, vanquish the demons of your past

Then set yourself free to live the best days of your life.
