My Wish

On this clear calm night,

I wish upon the shimmering star

You and I sitted at the rooftop

Wine bottle in hand, cigarette on another

A swig here,a puff there

The whole world is quiet

Save for the sound of my loud laugh

When you tell me about the one time

You made a complete jester of yourself

How I wish the moment never ends

Daylight drives away the dark

And as the sun in its majesty wakes the world

I wish upon the sunrise,

To let you in on that one time

I was in a duel

With my kindergarten teacher

Over my untidy work

Caught her by surprise

But again I was a little chunk of energy

Then watch your bewildered look…

It’s a story you’d love

And when the sun and rain

Compete for dominance,

I wish upon the rainbow that paints the sky

That one day

I’ll reveal my secrets, my dreams, my Hope’s

My ambitions, My craziness my weaknesses

And you’ll tell me about your achievements,

Your ambitions, your desires,your plans

And there will be no judgment,

No embarrassment

No fears

Just two souls,bonding.

Till then, I’ll keep wishing

Maybe tonight,

I’ll dream it.

Goodnight,my wish.
